NY Pizza Spot & Italian Kitchen (West Melbourne)

In the busiest part of Melbourne right in the heart of all the action sits a neighborhood pizza place that brings in the regulars.

We walked in and were immediately greeted with a hearty smile and hello. The made us feel very welcome. The clean and ample dining area is lined with pictures of NYC skylines. The kitchen area is decorated with family drawings and all the proper accoutrements for making pizza and any Italian dish you could ever want. Clean bathrooms are lying in wait if you need them.

You can sit at a small pizza bar or grab a table. We chose a table for our pizza eating experience. We of course ordered our customary large pepperoni. It came out in just the right amount of time. Piping hot and fast. The crust was well cooked and crisp with that fluffy interior that we like so much. It was topped with a rich sauce, and a mozzarella that had a creamy and salty flavor to it that was quite nice. The pepperoni was mild with a little kick at the back of your throat when you were done eating. This was a good pizza that everyone will like and it is obvious why there were so many regulars in the restaurant at an odd time (we like to go in between lunch and dinner hours). You can see our immediate reaction to NY Pizza Spot in the video below.

We had a great experience at NY Pizza Spot. It was spotlessly maintained, the staff was helpful and friendly, a beautiful full color menu with wonderful pictures of some of their dishes, and the pizza was good, but like we said in the video, the pizza was missing something that would put it over the top for our highest rating. Despite that we can't help but give NY Pizza Spot and Italian Kitchen a 4 as our rating. It's a good pizza and a great experience to eat there.
