Down The Shore

True story, I called this latest place the wrong name nearly the whole review. From the announcement of a live event all the way thru the ending. So why stop now, just kidding. Straight Outta Philly in Rockledge has expanded and it has been my pleasure to do a review on their newest location, Straight Outta Philly Down The Shore. Except this time I brought a panel of reviewers.

We had two pies, one our standard Pepperoni (Oxford Avenue) and a Ham and Mushroom. As we waited for our pizzas, I took in the new location. It has several tables for outdoor dining, complete with a tiki feel. The inside has booths and a couple of tables. There are sports figures and scenes either hanging in frames or painted on the walls. Including a Rocky Balboa mural. And one of Rocky facing off against Thunderlips.

The pizzas soon arrived nice and hot. Beautiful looking pizzas. Once again the crust was outstanding. They have a nice crisp crust with a soft interior. One of the reviewers said that it tasted like a garlic crust.  Of course the Pepperoni was its usual delicious spicy self. The others in our party said that the mushrooms were very tasty, along with the delicious ham that they use made the Ham and Mushroom pizza a hit at our table. Nothing like a family recipe sauce to add the right flavor to both of the pies. Cover it with their secret ingredient cheese blend, (ok, a little cheddar isn't a secret anymore), and two 5 Dancing Pepperonis pies made us have a great lunch experience.

Our party had a great experience. The staff and Owners of Straight Outta Philly have excellent food. Whether it's the Rockledge location or the new location that we reviewed today, Down The Shore on Eau Gallie Blvd, go check them out, tell them The Pepperoni Report sent you.
