Pozzy Bros. Pizza (Cocoa)

     Why would you go to a gas station for pizza? The answer is, to go to Pozzy Bros. Pizza in Cocoa. Hidden away in the back of a Marathon station on US 1 in Cocoa is a gem of a pizza place.

     Gas station pizza can't be good can it? If it's done right and with owners and staff that care about what they do, it can be fantastic.

     Pozzy Bros. opened earlier this year and they are outgrowing their location, so we hope to see them in a stand alone building soon.

     With a menu that is larger than their very own shop, you won't be at a loss for something tasty to eat, but we are here for the pepperoni pizza. This is  The Pepperoni Report after all. We grabbed one of the two tables and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. From our table you could see everything going on. It's all right there, the prep table, the brickoven, and all those fresh toppings.

     Business started picking up and the lunch hour rush was coming through, but the staff didn't sweat a thing. Our pizza came out in a quick fashion and looked great. As we bit into the pie we immediately noticed how well blended this pie was. A full roasted tomato sauce, mild pepperoni with just enough kick to satisfy you, mozzarella with the wonderful stringy pull that you die for, and an almost biscuit like crust, with a light crispy shell and soft interior.

      Guy and I disagreed on the final rating of this pizza. I really enjoyed it, but if you want to see our immediate reactions, watch the video below.
